13.06.2025 - For the 2026 event, Swiss O Week is introducing additional popular short categories, as well as another challenge category.
Two new features have been designed for the 2026 Swiss O Week to reflect participants' needs. Firstly, there will be more short classes for senior citizens.
- The age classes D45K / H45K to D60K / H60K remain unchanged.
- The age categories D65K and H65K have been added; these classes all use a map scale of 1:7'500.
In all these short classes, participants have a free choice of their start time.
On the other hand, there is another challenge class:
- Challenge Ultra, using a map scale of 1:10'000
- Ultra is a technical level more difficult than the previous Challenge Long, and the competition times are 10 minutes longer, with winning times of 50 to 60 minutes in the long distance races.
