On what was perhaps the last beautiful autumn weekend, the SOW 2026 Portes du Soleil organising committee set out one last time to visit the competition venues before the snowfall.
The maps were revised and the start and finish concepts checked on-site. At the same time, the media team also had a busy schedule. Photos were missing from the Plaine Dranse and Avoriaz stages, and the preview video was also to be filmed that weekend. Fortunately, the weather was on our side and gave us three days of sunshine. We made the most of these days from early morning to late evening to obtain film and photo material from the terrain. This is needed to present the stages and build anticipation – you can already look forward to the preview video.
