31.08.2025 - In the summer and autumn of 2024, Urs Steiner, Beat Imhof, Flavio Poltera and Yves Nager — all of whom are experienced mapmakers — were deployed to carry out fieldwork on the Swiss O Week 2026 maps.
In order to ensure that all stages can be run on top maps in the summer of 2026, fieldwork had to be carried out in the summer and autumn of 2024. The final corrections and additions were made in the summer of 2025. No less than 24 km² of terrain was completely surveyed for Swiss O Week 2026. The result of this enormous effort is impressive.
