22.09.2025: The organising committee spent last weekend in Morgins and the surrounding area working intensively on Swiss O Week details.
In addition to the core organising committee, many department heads were also present. The aim of the weekend was to familiarise themselves with the locations and finalise the provisional concepts for the competition centres (CC). Among other things, the following questions were discussed: How will the runners get to the CC, both from the bus and from the car park? Where is the finish line? Where does the path to the checkpoint/start leave the CC? Where are the medical facilities and the children's orienteering course located? Where can electricity be obtained from the existing infrastructure and where does a generator need to be used?
On Saturday evening, a local raclette master served his best cheese. This was a preview of the upcoming Raclette World Championship at the end of October 2025.
The results from Saturday were then processed and documented in the departments on Sunday. Anyone who wanted to could then complete a short orienteering session on one of the future training maps.
