20.07.2026 - Many thanks to all SOW volunteers at SOW 2026
Over 380 volunteers were on duty from early morning until late at night during Swiss O Week to ensure everyone had an unforgettable orienteering week. Some got up early every morning to prepare the start area, set out the control points in the forest or direct traffic. Others stayed late and worked hard to rearrange tents and barriers so that the competition centre looked immaculate the following day. Still others transported equipment from stage to stage, marked out the transport routes, provided runners with drinks along the way, looked after the injured, catered for the volunteers, and so on. One thing is certain: Swiss O Week would not be possible without this dedication, which is why we would like to thank all the volunteers from the bottom of our hearts for their committed efforts!
