24.12.2021 - The Swiss O Week 2023 wishes you and your family a good start into the New Year! We are already looking forward welcoming you in Flims Laax Falera in July 2023.

The first discussions for the SOW 2023 took place in autumn 2017, at that time still with an unknown venue. In the winter 2018, several destinations were invited to submit their candidacy for the World Orienteering Championships (WOC) and thus also to host the SOW 2023 at the same time. The destination Flims Laax Falera emerged as the winner of this competition. With this candidacy, Swiss Orienteering was subsequently awarded the contract at the IOF congress 2019 and work has been ongoing on the SOW 2023 Flims Laax and the WOC 2023 since then. For this purpose, the OC association of the SOW 2023 was founded in summer 2020 followed by the umbrella association WOC – SOW in the autumn of 2020. The necessary cantonal and communal permits have all been received. The maps have all been recorded this autumn.

The entry portal will open in autumn 2022. Early birds will benefit from a reduced fee when signing up until 31 January 2023! The final deadline for the competitive classes and the Holiday and Challenge open classes is 31 May 2023. After this date, late entries are still happily accepted on site in the open classes.
